West Wales Business Growth Awards 2026 Winners Celebrated

The shining stars of the West Wales business community came out to dazzle and enjoy a well-deserved moment in the spotlight recently at an inaugural awards event dedicated to recognising the successes of small and independent enterprises across the region. The Business Growth Awards – West Wales is the first event of its kind to be held in the three counties and celebrated businesses trading in Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. The awards dinner, held on March 27 at The Wolfscastle Country Hotel in Pembrokeshire, was a fantastic evening dedicated to honouring local business success. The showcase event is particularly keen to highlight those firms who often fly under the radar but nonetheless make a significant contribution to the local economy and their communities. Guests and nominees from across the business community were able to make the most of the chance to mingle with like-minded business owners and entrepreneurs across a rich and diverse spectrum of enterprises to laugh, share stories and make new friends and contacts. The welcome drinks reception set the tone for a vibrant evening filled with plenty of networking and getting-to-know-you opportunities, as attendees connected, exchanged ideas and experiences ahead of the awards, and built valuable relationships that will hopefully prove useful well into the future. A beautifully prepared three-course meal followed, with a standout beef main proving especially memorable thanks to the melt in-the mouth meat accompanied by an abundance of fresh, flavourful vegetables. Dessert was equally impressive, offering a creative combination of textures and flavours that rounded off the dining experience to perfection, highlighting the outstanding skills of the venue’s kitchen staff Throughout the evening, the awards were presented between courses by TV presenter Sian Lloyd as well as category sponsors, including representatives of Vortex Spray Company, HR Consultant Linda Burbage and West Wales Life&Style’s very own Amanda Owen. “It was a fantastic evening and I was delighted to see so many hard-working business people getting the recognition they deserve,” said Amanda.
