A pioneering restoration project is combining scientific research with local knowledge to help seagrass recover in Pembrokeshire.
Project Seagrass is continuing to plant and monitor seagrass in Dale Bay. These underwater meadows provide shelter for marine life, store carbon and support healthier coastal ecosystems.
Fishers, anglers, seafood gatherers and other local people have contributed knowledge about the bay and its wildlife. Their experience helps the team identify suitable restoration areas and understand how the habitat is changing.
